Aquaculture Engineer, Master in Marine Science and Limnology (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Mexico) and PhD in Marine Quantitative Science (University of Tasmania, Australia). Dr. Briceño is a Chilean researcher with more than 10 years of international experience R & D projects in aquaculture and fisheries. His research interests are based on applied physiology in aquatic economic resources, mainly for species vulnerable to climatic variability associated with climate change. Currently he works as researcher at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research in Chile (NIVA Chile), developing R&D projects on water quality and aquaculture, as well as in new research lines on climate change and salmon farming in Chile.
